Erik Sederstrom is a Senior Advisor for Data Operations for ForestVue. He is an experienced healthcare leader in academic medical centers & healthcare consultancies. With five Epic Cogito certifications and multiple successful population health projects, he is a seasoned outcomes-oriented transformation architect with proven abilities to build solutions and lead teams to improve performance and achieve goals through consultation, analysis, visualization, and mission-driven deployment of process and technology with a person-centered approach. He has consulted for healthcare device manufacturers, behavioral health systems, healthcare data consortiums, health plans, and many academic medical centers - two of which are US News Honor Roll members. He has held positions of Analytics Manager and Director of Business Intelligence. Erik began his personal population health journey when Dr. Sylvia refocused his talents from ‘volume to value’ by offering him an opportunity to implement the Medical University of South Carolina’s population health analytics infrastructure after previously focusing on perioperative and procedural suite analytics for three years. He has been honored to contribute to Dr. Sylvia’s publications and co-present with her at multiple conferences.
